We're Enriching the Women's Infrastructure Network
Women's Infrastructure Network is pleased to offer a mentorship program to current WIN members in Canada.
The objectives of the WeWIN mentoring program are to:
- Provide members the opportunity to make new individual connections to engage in conversation with other professionals in the infrastructure sector and to exchange views on career issues.
- Provide mentors the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and provide guidance to aspiring leaders in the infrastructure sector.
- Support WIN’s strategic imperative of enhancing the profile of women in the Canadian infrastructure space.
The mentorship program will run on 9-month cycle starting in October/November 2019. Mentees and Mentors will be matched on a 1:1 basis and encouraged to meet on a bi-weekly basis; however it is up to Mentors and Mentees to determine the frequency of meetings and all pairs are encouraged to find a rhythm that works for them. Although we will attempt to accommodate all of the interested participants, the submission of an application does not guarantee your participation in the program.
The program is an excellent opportunity for women early in their careers, looking to advance their careers, or those seeking to expand their skillset. Mentorship offers benefits to both mentor and mentee. Mentors will be provided with professional coaching and support to enhance their leadership skills in a mentorship role. Mentees will be provided the opportunity to build new relationships while working closely with a mentor to exchange ideas and discuss challenges within the industry.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we are able to offer this program to WIN members free of cost. A special thanks to our Corporate Sponsor, Deloitte for their support of this program.
First time mentors are welcome!
