Jennifer Garrett has been the Director General of the Centre Block Rehabilitation since May 2016.

As the Director General, Jennifer is responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of the Centre Block rehabilitation, in support of the Branch’s Long Term Vision and Plan implementation strategy. The project is the largest and most complex endeavour being carried out to date on Parliament Hill.

Jennifer has been working in the federal public service for 18 years in various project management roles, including real property, information management/information technology and procurement. For the last nine years, Jennifer has been leading multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of major crown projects in both the Department of National Defence and Public Works and Government Services Canada.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. She is currently working towards a Masters in Urban and Rural Planning.
