Teresa Florizone, Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer at SaskBuilds, has worked with the private industry for 15 years and with government for 16 years – both in the municipal sector (as Controller at the City of Regina) and provincial sector (VP & CFO at SaskBuilds). Teresa has a CPA-CMA designation – where she received the CMA Gold Medal. In addition, Teresa has participated on many boards and committees including Committee of Canadian Issues (CCI) for International Government Finance Officer Association (GFOA) and the Advocacy and Communication Committee. She was a member of Saskatchewan Municipal Asset Management (SMAM) board and was the President of Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Saskatchewan. In 2017, Teresa was honored with the YWCA’s - Women of Distinction Award for Leadership and Management. Teresa’s experience includes municipal and provincial asset management and large P3 infrastructure projects such as Regina’s Mosaic Stadium, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Regina Bypass, Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford, 18 Joint-Use Schools project and the Swift Current Long Term Care project. While away from work, she enjoys her 2-acre garden, sharing produce with members of the community in need.
