Ms. Ann Clancy is a Senior Environmental Specialist and Manager at Hatfield Consultants. Ann holds a Master’s in Town and Country Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management. Ann worked primarily on Environmental Impact Assessments for large infrastructure and extractive projects in Ireland for 7 years, prior to relocating to Canada. She joined Hatfield’s Infrastructure Environmental Management group in 2014 and since then has provided environmental services on a variety of infrastructure projects in BC including clean energy projects, road developments, water supply projects and major construction projects at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Ann is currently the Environmental Manager for the Vancouver Airport Fuel Delivery Project, a new fuel receiving, storage and delivery system for YVR which features a new marine terminal, a fuel receiving facility and a 13-kilometre underground pipeline. This role has involved liaison with engineers, contractors, stakeholders and several regulatory bodies including BC Environmental Assessment Office, BC Oil and Gas Commission, Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, City of Richmond, and DFO. She has developed a reputation for incorporating innovative and creative solutions to complex environmental problems. Ann is a Mentor in the WeWIN Mentorship Program and is a Director-at-Large for the Environmental Managers Association of BC.
